This 3 bedroom, 2 bath vintage flat boasts 20 foot high cathedral ceilings with all original detail and charm. On a forested hillside in the penthouse floor of a 1920s Triplex, natural light floods into all 6 rooms and views of the Hollywood sign can be found throughout the house. Designed with photography in mind, offering many different backdrop options that are all unique, yet tie together. All of the decor is of the highest quality and guaranteed to make your images stand out!
Blush Art Deco decor and furniture meets rich Moroccan textiles. A curated and colorful mix of new and vintage items can be found throughout the penthouse. Touches of both 80s art deco and bits of mid-century are blended seamlessly. Tasteful accent walls and simple murals can be found in all of the rooms.
The living room is painted shades of pink and sage, filled with luxurious velvet furniture to match. All-original Spanish tile working fireplace that is to die for. With carefully selected vintage artwork, high pile rugs, gorgeous glass and brass light fixtures, and exotic plans, this place is an art deco meets Moroccan dream.
There are 3 private balconies all with incredible views of the sign and so much more. The back pink patio is filled with high end outdoor furniture, cacti, and pink bougainvillea plants. The front patio looks out onto the greenest Hollywood Hills back streets with trees and bougainvillea abounding.
The dining room has french doors that open to our front patio. A curved ceiling with a gorgeous statement chandelier. Mid century wooden table paired with blush velvet chairs. A mid century credenza with original 80s art deco prints.
The full kitchen is very large, light, and beautiful. With light marble counters, sage island, original pink tile floors, and painted pink to match. Tons of windows and view of the Hollywood sign.
The master-bedroom is all sorts of statement with yellow and gold coloring throughout. Featuring a golden yellow accent wall and circle-mural adjacent. The most sunny mid-century room you will ever see!
The other two rooms are great for secondary living room shots or office settings. The first themed power blue and pink, featuring an exotic gallery wall with original Matisse Lithograph. Two darling daybeds sit facing each-other, both with an amazing backdrop. The other wall features a pink circle mural and is also a great spot for product photos.
The last bedroom is the more masculine of the bunch, yet still incredibly refined and fresh. A deep green couch sits against a lighter sage green wall with hand painted abstract art. Complete with cow hide, brass coffee table, and cognac chair.
The backyard and neighborhood is an overgrown tropical oasis. Beachwood Canyon is known for it's funky architecture and greenery. Within one block you can find so many outdoor photo opportunities without having to go more than a few steps from home base. Please see photos of buildings and nature walking distance from the house.
